Meet Our Host

With her vivacious engaging, easy, witty and smart style Arthel Neville has a unique blend of personality and credibility that puts her in a class of her own: a journalist who covers interantional news and a premier celebrity interview.  "From China to china, Lagos to Lego's, Turkey to frying a turkey," is how she sums up her distinctive ability to toggle between hard news and entertainment with poise.

Arthel is currently the weekend anchor on FOX News.  She blazed a storied trail along the way:

  • Personally hired by CNN's CEO Walter Isaacson as the first African American woman with her own signature show on the iconic cable news network, "Talkback Live with Arthel Neville"
  • Launching "Extra" for Telepictures-Warner Brothers
  • Hosting and producing over 200 interviews with Hollywoods'a A-list for her show on E!, and becoming the nation's first high-profile African American female entertainment reporter
  • Being handpicked by Dick Clark to be his co-host of the Miss Teen USA Pageant
  • Co-hosting the Miss Universe Pageant to a worldwide audience of over 60 million people
  • Garnering critical acclaim for her international coverage of Hurricane Katrina in her beloved hometown New Orleans

Arthel has been often called in as a fixer:

  • Taking a popular Los Angeles-based morning show to a national audience
  • Launching and driving another local So-Cal morning show to #1

Her personal mantra is "Who said I couldn't do it?" which serves as a personal reminder of proud accomplishments.  A longtime trailblazer, Arthel shows no signs of stopping.
